1. Who We Are

Queenie-B Honey is operated by Doug at West City Farm, Willamette Valley, Oregon. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to Queenie-B Honey. You can reach us at hello@queeniebhoney.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

• Place an order (name, shipping address, email, payment information)
• Subscribe to email updates (email address, name)
• Submit a contact form (name, email, message content)
• Apply for a wholesale account (business name, contact details)
• Register for a farm visit or beekeeping course waitlist

We do not currently collect payment card information, since this site does not yet process real payments (see our Terms of Service).

We also collect technical data automatically when you use our website, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. This is standard web server log data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill orders
• Communicate about orders, shipping, and returns
• Send email newsletters (only if you opted in)
• Respond to questions and inquiries
• Manage wholesale and farm visit relationships
• Improve our website and understand how visitors use it

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Email Marketing

If you subscribe to our newsletter or promotional emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us directly. We process unsubscribe requests within 5 business days.

5. Data Sharing & Storage

Form submissions are currently stored in your browser's local storage for our internal review — they are not yet transmitted to a backend server or third-party CRM. This is a temporary arrangement while the site's ordering and inquiry systems are built out. As those systems come online, we anticipate sharing information only as necessary to operate our business, such as with:

• Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx): to fulfill orders.
• A payment processor: to process payments once real checkout is live.
• An email service provider: to manage newsletter subscriptions.

We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or social media platforms for targeting purposes.

6. Data Retention

Order records are retained for seven years for tax and accounting purposes. Email subscription records are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly � we will delete what we can while retaining what we are legally required to keep.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to remember your shopping cart between pages and to store form submissions as described above. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics service is currently active on this site.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time

9. Security

We use HTTPS on all pages of this website. Because this site does not yet process real payments, we do not collect or store credit card numbers on our servers. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
